Tupelo Mayor Signs Support for National Guard and Reserve

Tupelo Mayor Todd Jordan signed an Employer Support of the Guard and Reserves (ESGR) Statement of Support on Wednesday, reaffirming the city’s commitment to employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve, according to a city news release.

During the event, Jordan received a flag from Bill Allen of ESGR in recognition of Tupelo’s ongoing support for service members. The mayor was joined by W.O. Jones, Bill Allen, Bob Baughn, and Lucas Berryhill of ESGR, along with Tupelo Chief Operations Officer Don Lewis.

The city’s support underscores its dedication to employees who balance public service with military commitments, the release stated.
