Tupelo Police Department hosts community discussion on gun violence

The Tupelo Police Department will hold a community forum on gun violence on April 18, 2026, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Stauffer Community Room, located at 400 N. Front St.

The event, titled “Real Talk with TPD,” aims to foster dialogue between residents and law enforcement. Participants will hear from Police Chief John Quaka and guest speakers, and will have the opportunity to ask questions during a Q&A session.

The event is free and open to the public, encouraging community members to engage in conversations about safety and violence prevention.
