Tupelo Police Department hosts community discussion on gun violence

The Tupelo Police Department will hold a community conversation on gun violence on April 18, 2026. The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon at the Stauffer Community Room, located at 400 N. Front St.

Chief John Quaka and guest speakers will discuss issues related to gun violence and community safety. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a question-and-answer session.

The event is free and open to the public, and organizers encourage community members to attend and share their concerns.
