Tupelo Police Showoff Equipment to Students During Community Helper Week

Tupelo police officers visited First United Methodist Church Dayschool on Thursday as part of Community Helper Week. Officers, including Captain Mansell, Lieutenant Carter, Sergeant Parker, Corporal Price, and Corporal Moore, spent time with students, providing an up-close look at law enforcement equipment.

The officers showcased the department’s BearCat armored vehicle, a patrol car, and some of the department’s drones. The visit aimed to educate children about the roles and tools of law enforcement.

Organizers expressed gratitude for the opportunity to engage with the community and hope the students enjoyed the visit as much as the officers did.
