Tupelo Public School District students release butterflies in classroom celebration
Students in the early childhood education center at Tupelo Public School District participated in a butterfly release this morning. The activity capped their lessons on the life cycle of butterflies.
Students expressed excitement as they said goodbye to their class butterflies and cheered as the insects flew to their new homes, according to district officials.
