UM’s CARES Club Welcomes Students Interested in Child Advocacy

The CARES Club — Child Advocacy Response and Education for Scholars — at the University of Mississippi is open to students across all majors. The organization offers opportunities for students interested in working with children and making a positive impact in their communities.

Students studying Education, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Multi-Disciplinary Studies, or other fields can connect their academic interests with child advocacy efforts. The club aims to foster community, professional growth, and future career possibilities for its members.

Those interested in joining are encouraged to contact Jeremy Shane South at jssouth1@go.olemiss.edu for more information. The organization emphasizes purpose, change, and supporting brighter futures for children and communities alike.
