Child Dies in Nettleton Car Accident

A 6-year-old child from Shannon died in a two-vehicle accident in Nettleton on Tuesday.

Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley confirmed the death after the wreck occurred at Highway 45 and Martin Luther King Avenue around 3 p.m.

The child’s name has not been released, and no other information regarding the other individuals involved is known yet.
