Lee County Sheriff’s Deputy makes meth arrest
From the Lee County Sheriffs Office:
On 08-05-2020, a Lee County Deputy was patrolling state park road when he noticed a vehicle that appeared to have a switched tag. The deputy ran the tag and verified the tag being displayed was not registered to the vehicle it was on.
He then initiated a stop on the vehicle. As the deputy approached, he noticed the driver reaching in the back seat.
The deputy looked and found a bag of crystal methamphetamine in the area he was reaching. The deputy then placed the driver underĀ arrest and brought him to the Lee County Jail without incident.
Charge- Possession of Methamphetamine
