South Thomas Street from Cliff Gookin Boulevard to Mitchell Road will be closed from July 28 to July 30, authorities said. The closure is to allow a contractor to mill and pave the section of the road.
The street will be closed each day from 8:15 a.m. until the work is completed. Drivers are advised to plan alternate routes during this time.
Officials have not specified how long the project will take beyond the three-day closure period.
