Tupelo delivery driver charged in Walmart shipment theft

A 30-year-old Tupelo man was arrested and charged with grand larceny after electronic products went missing from shipments delivered to a Walmart in Tupelo, authorities said.

Store personnel reported the missing products on Sept. 22. The items were part of shipments delivered to the store at 3929 North Gloster Street, according to a news release dated Oct. 28.

Walmart staff said store surveillance linked the missing shipments to a delivery driver for CODA Logistics, a company contracted through FedEx.

Quinterous K. Tiggs was arrested Oct. 21 and charged with one count of grand larceny, the release said. Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir ordered Tiggs held on $50,000 bond on Oct. 23.

The case remains under investigation, and the charges will be presented to the Lee County grand jury, authorities said.
