Tupelo Public Works to Replace Cross-Drain on Walsh Road
The Tupelo Public Works Department will replace a cross-drain on Walsh Road on Wednesday, July 29, from 8 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m., according to a city news release.
The work aims to improve drainage and ensure the reliability of the city’s stormwater system. During construction, motorists should expect a temporary detour in the work area.
Drivers are advised to plan alternate routes and exercise caution while traveling through the construction zone. Residents are also asked to avoid parking near the work site during construction hours to allow crews and equipment access.
The city appreciates public patience and cooperation as crews complete these infrastructure improvements. The project is expected to be completed as quickly and safely as possible, weather permitting.
