Fatal Accident Leaves One Dead in Lee County
A fatal accident that occurred on Interstate 22 in Lee County on Saturday has lead to one death, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
MHP Staff Sgt. Bryan McGee said the accident occurred due to two cars colliding and hit a tow truck that was connected with another vehicle behind it.
69-year-old male Johnny Elvis Baughman passed away due to the events of the incident, and the MHP is working to confirm more injuries.
Investigations are ongoing around the wreck.
