One person is dead following a shooting in Lee Co this weekend.

One person is dead after a weekend shooting in Lee County.

Coroner Green says it happened early Saturday morning, but she is leaving it to the Lee County Sheriff’s Department to release more specifics about the case.

Sheriff Johnson says he will do that on Tuesday.

Green plans to release the name of the 21-year-old shooting victim after talking with the family.

The victim’s body is in Pearl at the Mississippi State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
