Fire department officials announced that tryouts will take place tomorrow, October 10th, at Station 3. The event is set to start at 8 a.m., with participants advised to arrive early to validate their registration.
The organizers addressed concerns about the weather, stating that the tryouts will go on regardless of forecasted conditions. They quoted the Mississippi State Fire Academy, saying, “It doesn’t rain inside these gates.”
Participants are encouraged to attend and not be deterred by the weather forecast, which predicts rain. The department emphasized the importance of being prepared and arriving on time for the event.
