Authorities in Tupelo arrested Jamie M. Lober, 47, of Saltillo, in connection with a vehicle burglary at Barnes Crossing Volkswagen. The incident occurred on May 10, when a victim reported property stolen from their vehicle while at work, according to police.
Investigators reviewed surveillance footage of the crime, which led to Lober’s identification. He was previously arrested on unrelated charges.
On August 18, Lober was formally charged with one count of burglary of a vehicle. Two days later, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen ordered him held without bond, as he was out on bond for a prior felony charge. The case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury, authorities said.
