Two charged with burglary of Tupelo commercial building
Authorities in Tupelo arrested two individuals in connection with a burglary of a commercial building on West Main Street, according to reports.
On July 10, officers responded to the residence, which was being used for storage and was found to have been burglarized. The owner confirmed multiple items had been stolen, authorities said.
Following an investigation, Reid M. Raines, 27, of Tupelo, and Olivia S. Adams, 21, of Tupelo, were taken into custody on July 15 and charged with one count of burglary of a commercial building. Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir ordered both held on a $10,000 bond on July 17.
The charges are expected to be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury. Additionally, Raines is currently under a hold by the Mississippi Department of Corrections, authorities said.
