Sergeant Parker, Officer McKinney, and Corporal Miller of the Tupelo Police Department participated in UAM Aviation Day this weekend. The officers showcased the department’s drone program and conducted flight demonstrations.
The displays aimed to educate the public about the department’s drone capabilities and the various ways this technology supports public safety efforts, according to a department news release.
The Tupelo Police Department expressed appreciation to UAM for hosting the event and to all attendees who stopped by to learn more about the drone program.
