Tupelo woman charged with felony shoplifting

Tupelo police arrested Kierra D. King, 29, on July 3 on charges of felony shoplifting, according to reports. The arrest followed an investigation into thefts at Kohl’s, located at 3982 North Gloster Street.

Officers responded to the store on June 8 after reports of shoplifting. Store personnel told police that three individuals had stolen merchandise multiple times from the business.

King was taken into custody after further investigation and was ordered held on a $5,000 bond by Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen on July 5. The case is scheduled to be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury, authorities said.
