Woman charged with child abuse after infant test positive for illegal narcotics

Felony Child Abuse Case

On 06-15-2022 Tupelo Police were notified by Mississippi Child Protective Services that a newborn had tested positive for illegal narcotics at birth. A criminal investigation was initiated and suspect Jamey Finn (24 y/o female, Tupelo) was charged with Felony Child Abuse.

On 06-30-2022 Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen set bond at $7,500. This case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
