Tupelo man charged in vehicle burglary case

Police responded to a burglary report on Cross Creek Drive on Aug. 21, according to authorities. The incident involved property being stolen from a vehicle at 882 Cross Creek Drive near Carlock Toyota.

Following an investigation, officers arrested Demaro R. Hubbard, 28, of Tupelo, on Aug. 30. He was charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit vehicle burglary.

Hubbard appeared in Tupelo Municipal Court on Aug. 31, where Judge Allen ordered him held on a $10,000 bond. The charges are scheduled to be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury, police said.
